A Look at the 2023 Zenyu Judo Winter Open

On March 4th, American Judo & Zenyu Judo hosted the Zenyu Winter Open at the Kent Meridian High School in Kent, WA. The tournament featured over 250 judo athletes from all over the North West region of the United States and parts of Canada. The atmosphere was electric and everyone had a great time. American Judo and the Zenyu Team went above and beyond to help ensure that everything ran smoothly, from setting up the mats to registrations, bracketing, and technology setups. Let’s take a closer look at this amazing event!

The competition was set up with divisions for all ages! With three mat areas, the event was buzzing from 9:00am to the end. One thing that made the event stand out was that an entire mat was dedicated to female judoka. Everyone competing got some great matches in throughout the event.

American Judo played an important role in this event by helping with mat setup and registration process before it started. We also helped with bracketing and technology setup during competition day so that everyone could track results easily without any issues. We also provided medals and a podium back drop design.

The 2023  Zenyu Judo Winter Open was an amazing developmental event that allowed judokas from all around North West to get some great matches in while having a ton of fun!

American Judo & Zenyu Judo worked together to help with mat setup and technology set up. The bracketing and communications sent by American Judo were essential so everyone can track results easily without any issues making sure everyone has a great time! Not only did competitors get some great matches in but they also got some awesome rewards like medals making it an unforgettable experience for all involved!
