Emily Daniela Jaspe (USA) got the silver medal at the Paks Junior European Cup. She won her first match, against Leah Offenberg (NED) with sode-tsurikomi-goshi for ippon.
Next, she defeated Tatiana Dutca (MDA) with a pair of harai-makikomis. The first time she did it, the score was waza-ari. The second time, it was ippon.
After that, she threw Aleksandra Shestopalova (RUS) with a tani-otoshi for ippon.
She scored three times with harai-makikomi on Celine Kleijmeer (NED) in the semifinal. The first one scored waza-ari, then yuko and finally, ippon.
In the final, Jaspe came unstuck when faced Aishat Alieva (RUS) who countered her uchimata in 23 seconds to score ippon.
