Jonathan Yang (USA) won the -60kg gold at the Paks Junior European Cup. He defeated Titouan Lucas (FRA) with ouchi-gari for yuko, drop morote-seoi-nage for waza-ari and seoi-otoshi for yuko.
Next, he threw Levente Kis (HUN) with ouchi-gari for waza-ari.
After that, he defeated Askhab Isayev (BEL) with kosoto-gari and ouchi-gari for yuko each.
In his semifinal match, he scored yuko with a cross-grip sode-tsurikomi-goshi before his opponent Bence Galo (HUN) got hansoku-make for accumulating three shidos.
Yang's final match was against Amza Chatti (FRA). Yang relied on groundwork to defeat him, pinning the French player for ippon.
