Americans in the Top 3 Juniors WRL

Three American players made the Top 3 in the IJF World Ranking List for Juniors.

Christopher Velazco came in at #1 for Juniors at -60kg. He got silvers in the Pan American Oceania U21 Championships in Santiago and the Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion. 

He also competed and did well in senior competitions, winning gold in the Tunis Open, Santo Domingo Open, Montreal Open and Prague Cup. He also got silver in the Guayaquil Open and bronze in the Gold Coast Open. 

Daniel Liubimovski came in at #2 in the -100kg division. He got gold in the Pan American Oceania U21 Championships in Rio de Janeiro and Junior European Cup in Portimao. He got silvers in the Pan American Oceania U21 Championships in Calgary, and Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion. And he got bronzes in the Pan American Oceania U21 Championships in Santiago and Junior European Cup in Malaga.

In Senior competitions, he got gold in the Montreal Open, Lima Open and Santo Domingo Open. 

Jonathan Yang was #3 in the -60kg category. He had gotten silver in the Prague Junior European Cup and bronzes in the World Junior Championships in Lima, Pan American Oceania U21 Championships in Rio de Janeiro and Pan American Oceania U21 Championships in Santiago.

At the senior level, he got a bronze in the Pan American Oceania Championships in Santiago.
