The 2023 North Coast Championships: A Major Success for American Judo and Chu To Bu Judo

The 2023 North Coast Championships, held Saturda, March 25th, featured some of the best Judo competitors in the region. With almost 200 individual matches and over 150 competitors, the event was a massive success for all involved. American Judo System and Chu To Bu Judo partnered together to host this exciting event that showcased some of the most talented Judo athletes in the region. Notably, US Olympian and Olympic Coach Steve Cohen was in attendance to help organize special matches and lead a training session the day after the competition. In this blog post, we will delve into the details of the event and reflect on the success of American Judo System and Chu To Bu Judo's partnership.

The 2023 North Coast Championships were organized by American Judo System, which handled all of the bracketing, registration, and technology setup for the event. This allowed Chu To Bu Judo to focus on delivering an exceptional experience for the athletes and the audience. With seemingly endless opportunities for competition and exhibitions, participants at the championships enjoyed an unforgettable experience.

The event featured Steve Cohen, US Olympian and Olympic Coach, who helped organize some special matches for the participants. The day after the competition, Steve Cohen led a training session at Chu To Bu Judo’s training center, as part of American Judo System’s ongoing support for Judo in North America. The training session was a massive success, with participants keen to learn from the Olympian and continue to develop their judo.
